Perlumina is a light-responsive surface system and material combining reflection, diffuse transmission and art derived from images of nature. When illuminated by natural or artifical light, the surfaces produce a soft, diffuse, luminous glow through pattern and translucency-controlled optical diffusion. Perlumina surfaces change luminance and glow according to the physics of reflected light as angle of light and angle of view, creating a dynamic perceptual experience inspired by the physics of light and form in nature.
